What Is Books-In-A-Flash?
Books-In-A-Flash is a special textbook reservation system developed by DuBois Book Store to allow students to get all their required course materials quickly and accurately. Students submit their class schedule information and preferences, and all the books they'll need for classes will be pulled from our inventory and be ready for pickup the week before school resumes. There is no additional fee for using this service - it's FREE

While we are unable to post textbook prices online, you can request that we email you a total for your order on the day we pull your books, Sunday, January 6, 2008.

What are the advantages to using Books-In-A-Flash?
You save time and money! Your books are already pulled when you arrive at the store, so there's no waiting. And you get a great selection of used books by getting first in line for your courses. In addition, our Books-In-A-Flash customers automatically are pre-registered for a free "Key to Kent" student savings card!

How do I submit my Books-In-A-Flash order?
Simply fill-out an application! You can use the paper form distributed at the store and either fax it to us, drop it in the mail, or stop by the store and hand it in. Better yet, there's an electronic submission form you can access on this site up to a week before the start of each semester. For Spring 2008, the form will be available starting in mid-January. We'll also accept all the required information via e-mail directed to KentBooks@aol.com.

Can I compare prices without reserving my books?
The Books-In-A-Flash system is a reservation system. Books are not physically pulled until the Sunday prior to their availability for you to pickup, to ensure the most up-to-date information and best possible selection. Consequently, we are unable to post prices online. We apologize for the inconvenience.

When is the application due? When can I pick up my books?
For Spring 2008, you need to submit your application so that it is received no later than 5:00pm Friday, January 4th, 2008. If you reserved books, they will be available for pickup any day from Monday, January 7th through Sunday, January 13th. Our regular store hours will be extended on those days for your convenience. If you miss the opportunity to use Books-In-A-Flash, don't worry! Our traditional one-on-one clerk service will deliver everything you need FAST, so visit our store at 332 S. Lincoln at your convenience!
